I think it would be easier to answer if you would

specify why it would be a sin. I believe God gave us a human body to learn from and also find joy through. So much in our society today creates fear and insecurity. Art brings joy and sense of understanding of our fellow children of the Lord.

Ballet teaches the value of hard work and discipline, and what it means to be a part of something that still has high standards and tradition. A lot of dance today has become brutally competitive and immodest, but I think ballet is still the place where you can find people dancing in praise of the Lord and His many gifts. Movement is a language. The movement in ballet is all about grace, reaching upward, strength, and control. It is about becoming what is noble and beautiful in human character. To say ballet is a sin is to say singing beautifully in praise of the Lord is a sin.
