Does Ballet make you grow tall?

Not by pointe but I mean growing.

No, but you have to be tall in order to be a good ballerina or ballerine.

Ballet can't make you grow taller. Eating proper nutrional foods will. Ballet can make you leaner and more flexible, giving the illusion that you are taller.
No but you will have a better posture and look taller.
Makes ya flexible. ;P
has nothing to do with "tall". Probably as you exercise while dancing you get a little older and so you see growth in stature during those years, but no, ballet has nothing to do with actually growing tall.
no
Nope, sorry! Ballet dancers appear to be taller than they are because of the uplifted posture of the chest and head required to make ballet look cooler (and stop dancers falling over when they stick their legs in the air). The lifting of the ribcage also lifts the head, so it looks as though the dancer has gained an inch or so - but alas, it is only smoke and mirrors.... :'(

It's back to the world of the midgets for me.
The posture makes you appear tall and graceful, but I'm not sure if it actually stimulates physical growth. It encourages better posture, and this makes anybody appear taller.
Probably not, you just learn posture that maximizes how tall you look. There was an answer earlier that says you have to be tall to be a ballet dancer, but I think that varies depending on what a particular company is looking for; at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet the dancers tend to be short.
no! i've been taking ballet for 5 years and i'm still really short
no it will not help you grow taller, but it is ver good if you wanna be lean and hvae good posture and stongggg legs
