How do you do the perfect ballet bun???

I want it two be flat and not like a big lump on my head. what products cna i use to make my hair slick pony tail not sooo lumpy so post what ever you have!

Depending on hair lenth if not too long,

Pull into a tight ponytail.

Secure the whispy hairs with wax.

Use a thick scrunchy (or homade one)(see Below) then fan your hair all around it, covering all the fabric!

Secure fan with rubber band and Spray.

Then sweep in a clock wise motion all the hair that is sticking out around the bun and secure with bobby pins more hairspray and pretty ribbon as desired.

To make your bun flatter and fuller if you hair is not. Make your own scrunchie form by using the top elastic part of a tall gym sock. Just cut it off and roll down. You can very it buy using differnt sized sock. THis is just the form the hair goes around and will not be able to be seen.

this only works if you do not have layers!

1) twist your hair all the way down

2) twist it around to make a flat bun on your head

3) hold the bun VERY VERY tight and stick in like 10 bobby pins (more or less everyones different. youll know there are enough wen the bun feels tight)

4) let go of the bun

5) put in TONS of hardening hair spray so your hair can take anything
Well i dont know the rite way to do it but if you want your haire to LOOk like it has a ballet bun then first braid you hair in a pony tail braid, and the but it in a bun. then it'l LOOK lilke you have a ballet bun
well when i had long hair and long layers i would put it in a pony tail. then i would braid it (nothing perfect) and then i would wrap it around into a "ballet" bun and then secure it with a hair tie.
