What is the turn called when so have one foot grounded and the other leg is out and moving in a circular motion. This motion turns your body around. It is kind of like a pirouette(sp).

it is called a Fouette it is a type of pirouette and you spelled Pirouette correctly the most famour example of these turns is in swan lake when Odette (she's the good white swan) does 32 in a row without stopping and finishes in a first arabesque en pointe!

the fizzy whatever preson who answered this is totally wrong. they're call fouettes. it's pronounced foo et ay.... jeez... you're prolly interpreting that wrong, but I have no other way to explain it.
Im not sure which turn your asking about but either its a fouette. or a fouette ala seconde....
well, you probably already know, but it's a fuoette. fouette is french for whipped turning. you can do a bunch of fouettes in a row, or then a fouette,double pirouette,fouette, double pirouette. well, hope this helps!plus, jazz dancers do them sometimes too.
